Summertime can get really hot in Montreal requiring you to cool off. Well, there is no better place to beat the wrath of Mother Nature than in one of Montreal’s water parks. The Montreal water parks are full of fun and most of them are only a short drive away.

A huge water park in Montreal with plenty of aquatic activities. The Blob and the Squalls are the top water activities in this park, they are fun and we urge you to visit the Super Aqua Club to find out what they’re all about.

Distance: 1hr drive, 85km
The water slides in this Montreal waterpark aren’t intense, but they have the largest heated wave pool in Quebec. You’ll also find some smaller water rides, games and a tube ring over 400 meters long.

Distance: 55 Min drive, 76km
This is a ski water resort that turns into a water park from June to September. With a 393-foot water slide where you can ride down in the dark, a white rafting-like slide and other water slides making use of the natural incline, Mont Saint-Sauveur guarantees more than one way to get wet. However, there’s a mountain alpine roller coaster in Quebec, known as the Viking, for those who don’t want to get wet.

The water rides on this Montreal water park are some of the best in North America and go toe-to-toe with the major theme parks in Disney and Wonderland. If you want to be taken for a spin, the Vortex rides and Turbo Twister are a must try.

You’ll have to cover some distance to get here but there are some cool rides to try such as the Turbo 6, a 24 meter-high super slide where you plummet at speeds of 60km/h and the 12 meter-high water carpet ride known as the Rock ‘n Toll.

This ski-resort turned water-park has over 10 water slides with different heights and intensity. Try the elephant trunk-ride if you want to be launched into the air and straight into the water; sounds really fun but definitely not for the faint-hearted.

With activities such as camping, water sliding, chilling in the sun and swimming in a heated semi-Olympic sized pool, the CDGR is a unique and excellent Montreal waterpark.

Combining water slide and safari activities doesn’t sound like the best idea but this place pulls it off. Everything here is named after locales and animals like their Nile River tuber ride, the Crocodile Lake Pool and Dolphin Lagoon where all the water fun takes place with 8 different waterslides and 60 water games. Don’t miss out on the park’s animals while you’re there.
